ターミナルのarchロゴの手前に、freeというプログラムで、
"o"なんていうオプションはない、という表示が
出て、ご丁寧にオプション案内まで出るようになっていた。
（システム更新だけして、再起動・チェックをサボること多し）
修正するには、
$ sudo nano /usr/bin/archbey2
14行目あたり、
ram_total=$(free -mto | grep Mem: | awk '{print $2}')
赤字の"o"を削除して保存で、
出なくなりました。
user単位で、~/.bashrcで設定している場合は、
もちろん、そちらで修正です。

犯人逮捕：procps-ngの更新が原因。
$ free --help

上記のように、procps-ng-3.3.9-3なら、oオプションは在る。
procps-ng-3.3.10-1では、なくなったようだ。
しばらく様子を見るんだったら、
$ sudo nano /etc/pacman.conf
IgnorePkg = procps-ng
をしてから、システム更新。
