の入れたい場所に、下記のような記述。
たとえば、l3afpad を追加するとすれば、

button_text = （アイコンフォントそのもの）
button_tooltip = Text Editor
button_font = Awesome 12
button_background_id = 1
button_padding = 5 5
button_lclick_command = leafpad

より、探して現物アイコンを
クリックボードにコピー。tint2rcの当該箇所にペースト。
同じく、tint2rcファイルのパネル設定の項目で、
#-----------------------------------------------------------------------
# Panel
panel_items = EPPPPTSPC
のようにPを１つ挿入追記。
ログアウト->リログイン。
かなり原始的なやり方ですが、上手く表示できました。
awesome-terminal-fontというフォントが
インストールされていますが、それにはない、
みたいなんですよね。
設定テストは、archbangのインストールはしないで、
ライブ上でやりました。
