my first "blackbox". archbang-rc-20141021-x86_64

ほぼ覚え書きの不親切さ。
archbangのデフォルトデスクトップは、
openbox。それですでに使っている
環境下で、デスクトップ環境を変えた
ということで、ござる。

で、一等最初に示したblackboxrcの記述のように、
blackboxの表現系をGray（ほかにBlue,Green,
Purple,Redが用意されている）に設定した。
そして、日本語の文字化けを防ぐためフォントを変更。

すぐ上の最終行は、壁紙の表示。お好みの壁紙は、
$ mkdir ~/.blackbox/background
として、以下に保存。
$ rootCommand: bsetbg -f
という書き方で表示できる。

openboxを止めて、blacboxを起動させる。

赤字はコメントアウトしたところ。
緑字は追記。exec i3が在るのは、
このバージョンのarchbangには、
デスクトップ環境として搭載されているから。

いまのところ、numlock,volumeicon,conky,fcitxの
自動起動はできていないです。fcitxとconkyの起動は、
メニューから。conkyなんか、systemdで、
conky.serviceを作ってやろうとしたけど、撃沈。
壁紙表示が要らないなら、
rootCommand: conky　で、自動起動させられます。

openbox、fluxboxとの大きな違いは、
アプリのautostartの機能がない、ということ。

※お断り、grayだったり、greyだったりは、現物がそうなので。

dcp7030、usb3.0接続でスキャナ動く。linux

biosで、XHCI Modeを殺さなくても、動くようになった。
ワケは！ メーカーがドライバを修正してくれたから。

ずっと以前にも話したことのある話なんだけど、
さる日本のディストロのmlで、C社のプリンターが
動かん、助けてくれ状態の人がおり、ml管理者側は、
ログを投稿してくれ、って言うんだけど、
一向にいとぐちが掴めず、だらだらやっていた。
勢い勇んで買ったプリンターが動かないとなれば、
血圧もあがってくるよね。

日本のディストロなら、サポートもいいだろう、
と安易に決めたんだろうけど、
私に言わせれば決める順番が逆なんだ。
使いたいプリンタをとりあえず決め、
linux対応の状況を慎重に調べる。
サポートの対応力も大事だね。

外部委託で、ドライバを作ってもらって、
はい、ドライバ在ります、ってだけじゃダメ。
linuxがわかっている人間が内部にいなければ、
どうにもならない。

きょう日は、紙に書いてあることだけ覚えて、
受け答えし、解ったことにさせられる
サポート女子が多いよね。
現物を、なーんにも知らないんだ。
話が少しそれると、電話を保留にする。
やっと出たかと思うと、
上司に話が上手く伝わっていないんだろう、
とんちんかんなことを
言い出す。基本、
おんなには、機械ものはやっぱり無理。
モノに対する愛があってやってるわけじゃないね。
単なるお仕事でしかないから、
勉強ができていない。好きでなきゃ
解かろうとなんかできない。それが人間。

ってことで、つながるデバイスは重要で、
それが動作しなければ、選んだディストロに
意味はない、ってことです。

じぶんのような超マルチディストロユーザーなら、
どれかでなんとかなるだろう、で済むんだけど。
とにかく素人にはドライバなんて
つくれないんだから、そこんとこ、よろしく。

P.S.
さるクルマディーラーのトップセールが女性とな。
話したら、クルマのこと、ほとんど知らなかった。
インテリアを売っている感覚に近いのかも。
クルマには、車輪が４つ付いているぐらいしか
知らないんじゃないか。そんな人の勧めでクルマを買う
人の気がしれないが、もはや、そういう時代なんだろう。

hwdb.bin does not exist,,, 3.17.3-1-ARCHへの更新

3.17.3-1-ARCH
にグレードアップするとシステム起動時に出る、
hwdb.bin does not exist、、、

$ sudo nano /etc/mkinitcpio.conf
追記内容：
FILES="/etc/udev/hwdb.bin"

$ sudo mkinitcpio -p linux

とすれば、起動時の表示は消えます。

この件、自前の環境、ga-h87-hd3 + core i5-4590sで出る。
p8h67-v + core i5-2405sでは、出ない。なんでだろう。
チップセットへの対応の問題か。

きょうは、archbangのひとつをopenboxからblackboxに変更した。
一応使える状態にはできたが、プログラムのautostartが
上手くできず、fcitxも、conkyも、
デスクトップメニューから手動で起動する、という惨状。
さえない日になっている。openboxよりいろいろできない
こともあって、さらに動作が軽い。
